..and yet another year.

Assalamualaikum

It's officially the fourth time in a row we're 'celebrating' new year's eve at my house. The second time in the garage. Menu's the usual: broccoli and mushroom soup, ribeye steak w mushroom sauce, mashed potato w butter, sausages (veal too!) and fries, dried veggies. Itinerary also hadn't changed: games, gossips, and DVDs. The difference is we played cards instead of Uno Stacko.

Yoga came a bit early, the girls (and Iman) came about half an hour before Maghrib with lots of snacks (and three decks of cards!), while Muti showed up a bit late with a box of J.Co. Talk about The Snack of 2006.

Oh and this time Ceuceu's friends are also joining us. With a couple of 6 packs. And a bottle of Bacardi. And wine. Tsk tsk. This time it's not that easy to hide those from Ocit's view. Heheh.

Lesson learned from previous years:
1. The fire should be started an hour before the BBQ began
2. Have someone expert to help light the fire
3. If possible, have someone patient enough to tend the BBQ

Anyways, the activities, in chronological order: music, BBQ, appetizer, Det. Conan the Movie, dinner, card, the Last Kiss, drinks, New Year, firewoks, more drinks, Material Girls, more card, 13 Ghosts, guys went home, 15-minute slumber party, sleep.

As with tradition, had late breakfast with last night's leftovers. Went to PIM 2. Had late lunch at Kyadon. Ended with Starbucks' Double Latte.
